ABout COMIC CON Denmark

Since 2014 we have been organising Comic Con events in the Nordics and creating unforgettable memories for thousands of fans of all ages in Malmö, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Stockholm.

In 2023 we celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Comic Con Stockholm, which premiered in 2014 (with a corona break in 2020). The same year we moved to a larger venue and attracted over 44,000 happy visitors to the event.

In 2025 Comic Con Denmark returned to Copenhagen for the first time since 2018, and we continue to develop the event for fans of films, series, games, cosplay, comics and pop culture.

Comic Con Denmark is the Denmark’s largest event for pop culture. Here you can experience:

  • Activities inspired by films, TV series, anime and gaming
  • Meetings with actors, artists, authors and digital creators
  • World class cosplay – both competitions and casual cosplay
  • The chance to try new games before most others
  • Areas such as Artist Alley, Game Hub, Board Gaming Zone, Heroes Activity Area and much more

Comic Con Denmark is a magical experience for both children and adults, where the whole family can geek out together.

GENERAL INFO

Comic Con Denmark is held the 7th to 8th of November 2026.

Comic Con Denmark takes place at Bella Center in Copenhagen.

Bella Center is a large exhibition and conference centre with good transport links, hotels nearby and space for all the areas you know from Comic Con – such as stages, exhibitors, gaming zones and Artist Alley.

Saturday Nov 7: 10 am – 7 pm
Sunday Nov 8: 10 am – 6 pm

Comic Con Denmark is primarily a cash free event, and most places at Bella Center accept payment by card or MobilePay.

However, there may be a few exhibitors who prefer cash payments. If you want to be completely sure, it can be a good idea to bring a small amount of cash – but most purchases can be made by card or mobile payments.

Yes, most exhibitors at Comic Con Denmark accept payment by credit card and/or MobilePay.

However, some exhibitors may only accept cash. If you plan to buy merchandise, food or art in Artist Alley, we recommend having both a card and possibly a little cash as a backup.

Our partner Bella Center has several food outlets and food areas where you can buy everything from snacks to hot meals.

As a rule, there will be food options for:

  • Vegetarians
  • Vegans
  • Guests with special needs or preferences (for example allergies, gluten free, etc.)

The selection may vary from year to year, but we continuously work to ensure there is something for most tastes and needs during Comic Con Denmark.

No, we refer you to Bella Center’s own restaurants and food areas. If you have special dietary needs for medical reasons, we recommend contacting Bella Center in advance to ask about the options, as they are responsible for the food on sale.

Yes, there is a cloakroom at Bella Center during Comic Con Denmark.

Here you can, for a fee (paid by card), safely store coats, bags and possibly cosplay props. We recommend using the cloakroom if you are carrying a lot, so you can enjoy a more comfortable day at the event.

Yes, there are parking spaces at Bella Center.

However, we encourage all visitors to use public transport, bicycle or walk whenever possible. It is more climate friendly and can make it easier to get to and from the event, especially during busy periods.

No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed at Comic Con Denmark.

The only exception is approved service dogs. If you bring a service dog, you must be able to provide documentation upon request. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of both animals and guests in a very busy event environment.

TICKETS

Comic Con Denmark tickets are sold through our official ticketing partner Ticketmaster.

You buy your tickets online through Ticketmaster, and we recommend that you only use this link when buying tickets for Comic Con Denmark, to avoid unofficial sellers and resale sites.

When you buy a ticket for Comic Con Denmark, you get access to the event during all opening hours on the selected day. Your ticket gives you, among other things:

  • Access to all stage activities and panels (subject to space)
  • Access to the exhibition area, exhibitors and activity zones (note that some games and areas may have age restrictions)
  • Opportunity to meet actors, artists, cosplayers and invited guests

(note: autographs and photos with special guests require a seperate ticket at an additional cost)

A Fast Pass ticket to Comic Con Denmark gives you:

  • Admission to Comic Con Denmark on the selected day
  • Fast track entrance, so you get into the event faster
  • Fast track access to some selected areas or activities (more information will follow as we get closer to the event)

Fast Pass is a good choice if you want to minimize queue time and have a smoother experience at Comic Con Denmark.

Artist Alley is the popular area where cartoonists, illustrators, writers and other creatives exhibit and sell their work.

An Artist Alley ticket includes:

  • Admission to Comic Con Denmark for ONE person on all event days
  • A guaranteed seat in Artist Alley with table and chair

Please note that we only sell a limited number of Artist Alley tickets, and they are primarily aimed at artists and creatives who want to exhibit their own work.

No, we do not have physical ticket sales on site. Ticket sales for Comic Con Denmark are exclusively online via Ticketmaster.

You can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster right up to and during the event, as long as there are still tickets available for the desired day.

If you can’t find your Comic Con ticket, start by checking your spam or junk email folder – sometimes tickets end up there.

If you still can’t find your ticket, please contact our ticket partner Ticketmaster, who can help you resend or locate your ticket.

When tickets for a specific date are sold out, we unfortunately will not release any more tickets for that day. This is due to safety and fire regulations regarding how many people are allowed in Bella Center at a time.

If your desired date is sold out, we recommend that you check the availability of tickets for the other event days, where there may still be some available.

If children’s tickets are sold out on the day you want to visit Comic Con Denmark, it is still possible to buy a regular adult ticket for the child.

The child will have the same access to the event – the price will just be the same as for an adult ticket.

No, tickets to Comic Con Denmark are generally non-refundable once they have been paid for.

We recommend that you contact Ticketmaster if you have any questions about their general terms and conditions, but as an organizer we do not offer refunds in the event of, for example, changed plans or illness.

Ticketmaster also offers a resale service where you can list your tickets for sale safely though their channel, in case you are not able to attend Comic Con Denmark.

No, it is not possible to change the date, even if there are still tickets available for the day you want to change to.

No, tickets sold via Ticketmaster for Comic Con Denmark are not personal.

The ticket gives you one-time entry to the event, and the person who shows the ticket at the entrance will be the one who gets entry. Therefore, please be aware of who you share your ticket with if you pass it on.

If a special guest (for example an actor) cancels their participation, we unfortunately do not refund regular entrance tickets to Comic Con Denmark.

We are sorry if you miss your favorite guest, but we can promise that there will still be plenty of other activities, guests and experiences at the event.

However, we will refund tickets for photos and autographs if the guest you were supposed to have a photo with or an autograph from cancels their participation. The refund is handled by our ticket partner Ticketmaster.

No, you don’t need to print your ticket.

We can scan your Comic Con Denmark ticket directly from your phone at the entrance.

Just make sure you have your ticket ready on the screen and turn up the brightness so that the scan goes quickly and smoothly.

Accessibility

Yes, Comic Con Denmark is accessible to people with disabilities. The event is held in Bella Center, which has good access conditions with ramps, elevators and accessible toilets.

However, please be aware that there may be congestion at times due to many visitors, especially on Saturday at popular activities, stages and during rush hour. If you have special needs, we recommend that you plan extra time and familiarize yourself with the area upon arrival.

Yes, companions/assistants have free access to Comic Con Denmark as long as valid documentation is presented at the entrance – for example, a companion card (ledsagerkort) or similar proof.

The companion must be accompanied by the person who needs companionship when entering the event. This way, we can ensure that the system is used correctly and help guests who need it.

You do not need to buy a seperate ticket for your companion. The documentation mentioned above is enough for your companion/assistant to enter together with you.

Yes, we offer special wristbands for guests with disabilities to make your visit to Comic Con Denmark more accessible and less stressful.

  • With this wristband, you get:
Access to the Fast Track queue in the same places as guests with Fast Pass tickets
  • Ability to avoid the longest queues at selected areas

The wristband does not replace your entrance ticket – you still need a valid ticket to Comic Con Denmark to enter.

How to get your wristband:
Show your documentation of disability (for example, companion card (ledsagerkort) or similar) at the information desk at the event.

You do not need to send any documentation to us in advance.

If you have a companion with you, they will also get a wristband so that you can be accompanied in the Fast Track queues

Show the wristband to our volunteers and staff when you want to use the Fast Track queue. We hope that this solution makes your visit to Comic Con Denmark easier, safer and more enjoyable.

AUTOGRAPHS, PHOTO SESSIONS & Heroes MEet

PHOTO SESSIONS

A photo session is your opportunity to have a professional photo taken with one of our special guests at Comic Con Denmark.

To gain access to a photo session, you must have:

  • A valid entrance ticket to Comic Con Denmark
  • A separate photo ticket for the guest you want to take a photograph with, in the time timeslot you want to

Yes. In addition to your entrance ticket, you must have a photo ticket to participate in a photo session with a guest.

You can purchase photo tickets online through our ticket partner. If there are still tickets left, you can also purchase them on the day, but we cannot guarantee availability.

The price of a photo ticket varies from guest to guest.
You can see the current price for each guest on the ticket page.

Yes, to the extent that there are tickets left.
We have a limited number of tickets for each photoshoot. To ensure you get a photo with your favorite star, we recommend that you purchase your photoshoot ticket online in advance. If there are still tickets available, you can purchase them the day before the session, but we cannot guarantee availability.

Yes. A photoshoot ticket is valid for a maximum of two people (+ the special guest), and you will receive one printed photo.

If you want one photo each (two prints), you will need to purchase two photoshoot tickets.

As a rule, we use a neutral background for the photoshoots.

In some cases, there may be a different background, for example if a sponsor is associated with the photoshoot area.

You choose the day and time of your photoshoot when you purchase your photoshoot ticket.

It is important that you show up on time – you are responsible for getting to your session. If you are late, we will do our best to find a new time for you. If this is not possible, your photo ticket will be considered used.

Printed and digital photos

All photos are printed on the same day they are taken. The exact waiting time depends on how many people have their photos taken that day.

It is very important that you collect your printed photo on site after your photo session, as the link to your digital photo, as well as the unique code to download the digital photo, is located at the bottom of the printed photo.

Yes, you will be able to download a digital version of the photo you have taken.

Your printed photo will include:

  • A link to the page where you can download your photo
  • A specific code that you will need to download the digital photo. The code is printed at the bottom of your photo.

Therefore, it is important that you collect your printed photo after the photo session – without it, you will not be able to access the digital version.

Selfies with guests

Some of our guests offer selfies for a fee.
Check each guest’s ticket to see if they offer selfies and what their prices are.

A selfie ticket allows you to take a selfie with your own phone with the guest. You must take the photo yourself and cannot have a friend take it.
A selfie ticket is only valid for one person + the special guest.

Autographs

Yes. If you want an autograph from a special guest, you will need both:

  • A valid admission ticket
  • A separate autograph ticket for the guest you want to meet

Autograph tickets are available online, and if there are still tickets left, you can also purchase them on site.

The price of an autograph varies from guest to guest.

You can see the current price of guest tickets on our ticket page.

When you purchase your autograph ticket, you select the day and time for your autograph session.

It is important that you stick to your chosen time as your ticket is only valid on the day and at the time you have chosen. If you arrive late, we will do our best to find a new time for you. If this is not possible, your ticket will be considered used.

All our guests have a selection of printed photos to choose from.
An autograph ticket includes:

  • One photo of your choice that the guest signs

You are also welcome to bring something from home for the autograph (for example, a poster, DVD/Blu-ray, book or merchandise). The price for the autograph is the same whether you choose a photo on site or bring something from home.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own items for the autograph – for example, posters, figurines or other personal memorabilia.

Please note that the price for the autograph is the same regardless of what the guest signs. In rare cases, individual guests may have special rules about what they will or will not sign – this will be stated in their profile or on site.

Heroes Meet Area and Access

Yes, to enter the Heroes Meet area you need a ticket for an activity there – this can be:

  • A photo ticket
  • An autograph ticket
  • Or a selfie ticket

You can only enter the Heroes Meet area at the specific time and for the specific session you have purchased a ticket for. This is to avoid long lines and congestion and ensure a good experience for everyone.

Yes. An autograph ticket (or a photo or selfie ticket) allows you to enter the Heroes Meet area for the session you have purchased.

You cannot stay in the Heroes Meet area without a valid ticket for a session, as we want to control the number of people and provide a calmer and more organized experience for both guests and the audience.

Cancellations and changes

Unfortunately, sometimes our guests have to cancel their visit, for example due to work or illness.

Your regular admission ticket to Comic Con Denmark is not refundable in the event of guest cancellations.

Photo tickets and autograph/selfie tickets for the cancelled guest can be refunded, or in some cases exchanged for another guest.

You will receive information directly from Ticketmaster on how to get a refund or possibly rebook your photo and autograph tickets. If you are in doubt or have not received information, you are always welcome to contact Ticketmaster for assistance.

You are responsible for arriving on time for your photo, selfie or autograph session.

If you are late:

  • We will do our best to find a new time for you, if possible
  • If rebooking is not possible, your ticket will unfortunately be considered used

To be on the safe side, we recommend that you queue for your session well in advance of the specified time.

COSPLAY

No one has the right to touch you, hug you, or take pictures of you without your permission – no matter what you are wearing.

If someone makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please tell one of our volunteers or a guard immediately so we can help you.

Do you want to take a picture?
Always ask first. Together we create a positive and respectful atmosphere where everyone can enjoy their passion for cosplay without fear or discomfort.

Absolutely not.
You are more than welcome to come in cosplay, whether you are entering competitions or not. We encourage all visitors who wish to wear their costumes and be part of the atmosphere at Comic Con Denmark – both on and off stage.

To ensure everyone feels safe, we have some clear rules for weapons, replicas and props for cosplay:

  • Your weapon must be legal under Danish law.
  • If your weapon clearly does not look like something dangerous (for example, a papier-mâché replica), you do not need to worry about violating our rules.
  • Items that are toys intended for children up to 14 years of age (for example, a large plastic water gun) are allowed.
  • Items that cannot be confused with real weapons (for example, a lightsaber from Star Wars or a phaser from Star Trek) are allowed in the event area.
  • Replicas of weapons, such as airsoft guns, are allowed if they have a clearly visible safety plug in the barrel and do not appear dangerous.
  • Replicas of knives, swords, axes, etc. are also allowed – but they must not be sharp or capable of cutting.
  • It is forbidden to use nails, sharp edges or similar that can cause injury.

It is not allowed to have drawn swords or knife replicas in the event area. During cosplay photo shoots or on stage, you are welcome to pose with the premitted weapons and props, but they may not be carried around the hall.

Comic Con guards and organizers reserve the right at all times to check that weapons and props you bring comply with the rules, and to refuse items they consider unsafe.

Yes, there is a dedicated cosplay dressing room where you can change and adjust your costume.

The area will be busy, especially during rush hour, so we recommend that you arrive as fully dressed as possible and use the room for final touches.

Please note: This space is not intended for a full dress change. We recommend you come as dressed as possible and only use this room for attaching props and other items that would not fit under outerwear.

There is a dedicated cosplay area for changing clothes, but space is limited and we cannot take responsibility for your belongings.

If you want to be sure that your things are under supervision, we recommend that you use the regular cloakroom in Bella Center. Here, for a fee, you can store outerwear, bags and larger props, to make your day at the event easier.

No, we do not have any specific size restrictions on cosplay costumes.
However, it is a good idea to be aware that there can be a lot of people at Comic Con Denmark. If your cosplay is very large, wide or has large wings/props, it may be difficult to get around the halls and through queues.

Please consider:

  • Whether you can move safely without impacting others
  • Whether you can get through doors, hallways and public areas

This way you help create a good experience for both yourself and the other guests.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES

Yes, Comic Con Denmark is child-friendly, and we warmly welcome children and families.

The event features many activities, areas and experiences that are especially suitable for children and young people – for example, creative zones, gaming, cosplay, family-friendly stages and quiet areas where you can take a break.

We also recommend families with younger children to attend Sunday, as this day generally is less crowded and overwhelming for our younger guests.

We have special rates for children.

  • Children under 4 years old: free admission
  • Children 4–12 years old: discounted child tickets (while supplies last)

If the child tickets are sold out for a specific day, you can still buy an adult ticket for the child, so you can get in.

We recommend that children under 12 years of age always attend accompanied by an adult or a responsible older person.

Children over 12 years of age can come to Comic Con Denmark alone, but only with the permission and full responsibility of their parents or guardians. Comic Con is a large event with many people, and we cannot assume responsibility for children who are not accompanied by an adult.

Yes, you are welcome to bring a stroller or pushchair to Comic Con Denmark.

However, please be aware that at times there can be a lot of crowding and many people moving around the halls. It can be especially challenging in narrow areas and at popular scenes, so please plan breaks and routes accordingly for a more pleasant experience.

STAGE ACTIVITIES & PANELS

Yes, all of our stage activities and panels are included in your ticket to Comic Con Denmark.

So you don’t need to buy an extra ticket to participate in workshops, Q&As, panels or other stage programs.

Please note that there is a limited number of seats, so we recommend that you arrive well in advance for the activities you would like to experience.

Comic Con Denmark has several stages with different programs – for example, Q&As with special guests, panels, shows, competitions and workshops.

We recommend that you:

  • Check the program to find the events that interest you
  • Use the overview map to find the stages where the activities take place

There will also be clear signage in the halls, and our volunteers are ready to help you find the right stage if you are in doubt.

Yes, Q&As and stage interviews with special guests are free when you have a valid ticket to Comic Con Denmark.

You do not need to buy a special ticket to watch Q&As on stage, but as there are a limited number of seats, we recommend that you arrive well in advance if it is a very popular guest.

No, it is not permitted for audiences to film Q&As and stage programs with our special guests. This is due to, among other things, rights, the guests’ wishes and consideration for other guests in the hall.

Comic Con Denmark generally does not record entire Q&As and upload them afterwards. If, exceptionally, recordings are made for use on our own channels, this will be clearly stated on site.
If you want to share your experience, we recommend that you instead take photos before or after the Q&A, where permitted, and share your impressions on social media without filming the session itself.

Film & Photography

Yes. There will be both filming and photography at Comic Con Denmark.

We take our own photos and videos for marketing and documentation of the event, and our event often attracts both local and national press, who can also film and photograph.

When you buy a ticket to Comic Con Denmark, you agree that you may be filmed and/or photographed during the event, and that the material may be used in our own channels and marketing.

Yes, you are allowed to film and photograph for private use at Comic Con Denmark, but there are some important rules:

  • You must always ask for consent before taking pictures or video of other guests
  • Always respect a no if someone does not want to be photographed or filmed
  • “Cosplay is not consent” – a costume does not automatically mean that the person wants to be photographed

Some of our special guests may not want to be filmed or photographed during panels, Q&As and interviews. In those cases, we will inform you about the rules before the activity in question starts, and we ask that you respect these guidelines.

Yes, you are allowed to live stream at Comic Con Denmark, but there are some important rules:

  • You must always ask for consent before including others in your stream
  • Always respect a no if someone does not want to be photographed or filmed
  • “Cosplay is not consent” – a costume does not automatically mean that the person wants to be part of the stream
  • Make sure your gear is not obstructive to the other guests around you. If you are in doubt you can contact our security team at the event, who can guide you in what gear you can use on site.
  • Our security personnel may ask you to pause streaming if it gets too crowded in the hallways
